ER visits tied to carbon monoxide poisoning spiked in first four days after Beryl

Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery Counties recorded more than 100 cases of CO poisoning between July 8 and July 11, according to the Houston Health Department. Many stemmed from the use of generators or car engines in enclosed spaces.
